Memphis School of Preaching Radio

The Memphis School of Preaching (MSOP) stands as a testament to decades of unwavering commitment to the gospel. Since its founding in 1966, the school has been guided by the wisdom of visionary leaders such as Roy J. Hearn, Curtis A. Cates, and Bobby Liddell. These men established the solid doctrinal foundations, modern facilities, and financial stability that continue to define the institution today. Currently led by Director BJ Clarke—whose own family legacy with the school dates back to 1970—the school remains dedicated to "keeping its toes pointed in the right direction" under the oversight of the Forest Hill Church of Christ.

At the heart of the MSOP experience is a faculty that brings well over 400 years of combined wisdom to the classroom. This depth of knowledge ensures that students are not just learning theory, but are being mentored by gifted preachers and godly men. The impact of this instruction is generational; many current leaders and students can trace their spiritual heritage back to the powerful preaching and rigorous curriculum established by the school’s earliest instructors.

With a "backbone" built on the command to preach the Word in and out of season, MSOP has successfully sent forth over 1,000 graduates to labor in the Lord’s kingdom. The school takes immense pride in its alumni and continues to seek out the next generation of laborers.
